What we're doing at Brainbaby Labs
Brainbaby is an all-in-one AI workspace: one subscription, every modality. That only works if the model underneath is genuinely strong at everything — writing, reasoning, code, research, and driving tools. Baby 4.0 is our answer.
Instead of optimizing for one leaderboard, we trained and tuned Baby 4.0 against the workloads our users actually run every day: long multi-turn conversations with memory, research-grounded slide decks, and full React Native apps generated from a single prompt.
What's new in Baby 4.0
- Frontier-level reasoning. On our internal evaluation suite — reasoning, coding, instruction following, and tool use — Baby 4.0 now trades top scores with the strongest frontier models, including Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol.
- Faster first token. Responses start noticeably sooner, especially on long chats with memory retrieval.
- Deeper tool use. Baby 4.0 decides more intelligently when to search the web, when to read your files, and when to just answer — fewer unnecessary searches, more direct answers.
- Better long-context memory. Conversations stay coherent across sessions; your preferences and past context are recalled semantically, not just by keyword.
- Cross-surface consistency. The same model quality whether you're chatting, generating a deck, or building an app.
