Refine a short clip you own or have permission to edit. Describe the visual change in Video Studio, or connect a workflow to the video-edit API. Video credits are charged by quality and duration.

How it works

  1. Bring a short clip

    In the web editor, use a permitted 2–10 second MP4 or MOV clip. The API takes a publicly readable HTTPS sourceVideo URL.

  2. Set the edit

    Describe the visual change and select quality. The editor shows its video-credit cost before submission.

  3. Track the result

    API editing returns a job ID. Poll /v1/videos/status with the same key to get the completed URL or refund status.

Questions before you start

Can I edit a longer video?

The current editor is for short 2–10 second clips. Longer-form editing is not offered by this workflow.

What happens if a job fails?

The API records the failure and refunds reserved video credits. Check the job status using its ID.

Are video and image credits shared?

No. Video edits use video credits, while image generation and editing use image credits.
