JPG to PDF with a 200KB target
Choose your images and a file-size limit. This free tool reduces image dimensions and JPEG quality, creates one PDF page per image, and measures the complete file. Your files stay on your device. A readable PDF cannot always fit a strict size limit.
How the size check works
Choose images in the order you need
Use JPG, PNG or WebP: up to 10 images, 5 MB per image and 20 MB in total. Each image becomes an A4 page with white margins. Files are processed in your browser; no account or upload is needed.
Select the upload limit
Choose 100KB, 200KB, 500KB or 1MB. KB means 1,000 bytes here. The target applies to the complete PDF, including all pages and file overhead. This tool converts images; it does not accept or compress an existing PDF.
Review the size and readability
The result shows its actual size and whether it meets your chosen limit. Compression may soften small text or photo detail. Download and inspect every page before using the file. If it is too large, remove pages or choose a larger limit.
Example: a portal asks for a PDF below 200KB
Check the actual output
Select one permitted JPG image and choose 200KB. If the result is 183KB, it meets this tool’s size check; you must still inspect the image and the portal’s format rules. If it is 214KB, the page warns that it exceeds the target. It never labels an oversized file as meeting the limit. No tool can guarantee acceptance by every portal.
Frequently asked questions
Does this always make a PDF smaller than 200KB?
No. The tool tries several image sizes and JPEG qualities, then checks the complete PDF. It clearly shows when the smallest attempted result exceeds the limit. Many pages, detailed photographs or small text may require a larger file.
Can I convert PNG or WebP to PDF too?
Yes. JPG, PNG and WebP images are re-encoded as JPEG inside the PDF. Transparent areas become white. Aspect ratio is preserved, but compression is lossy; keep your original image.
Can I compress an existing PDF to 200KB?
This tool accepts images only. It is useful when you have a JPG, PNG or WebP that must become a small PDF. It does not read, merge or compress existing PDF documents.
Is this JPG to PDF converter free and private?
Conversion is free, with no signup or watermark. Selected files are read and processed locally in the browser; the converter does not upload them to Brainbaby or an AI provider.
Will the text in the PDF be searchable?
No. Each page contains an image. This tool does not perform OCR or create selectable text. Use the text-to-PDF converter for typed notes, and check any accessibility requirements before submitting an image-only PDF.
What should I check before uploading the output?
Open the PDF and check page count, order, readability, file size and the destination’s requirements. A size check does not verify the contents or guarantee that a school, employer or government portal will accept the document.
