AI translator for messages with context
Supply the source text, name the target language and explain who will read it. Use Brainbaby to draft a translation, then check the meaning and wording before sharing it.
Worked example: translator
A fictional example, not a live customer result
This example shows the kind of input and review that make the task useful. The sample wording below was written for this guide; it is not a benchmark or a promise of model output.
A complete brief
Return a translation draft, then flag ambiguous wording or missing context. Preserve names, dates, quantities and whether actions are proposed or confirmed. Do not invent a timezone. Do not call the output a certified translation. Task: Translate this meeting request into English. Keep the proposed time separate from a confirmed appointment. Source material: Toplantıyı perşembe günü saat 15.00’e alabilir miyiz? Henüz onaylanmadı; size uyarsa takvimi güncelleyeceğim. Audience / language: English; an existing colleague; polite and concise Constraints: Preserve Thursday and 15:00. Do not invent a timezone or say that the calendar has already been updated.
An illustrative draft
Could we move the meeting to Thursday at 15:00? It has not been confirmed yet; if that works for you, I will update the calendar.
Why these details matter
The English version keeps the meeting change as a request. It preserves the proposed time without adding a timezone or claiming the calendar was already changed.
Turkish to English translation: keep the product facts
Original fictional source and English draft
Turkish source: Bu defter A5 boyutundadır ve 80 çizgili sayfa içerir. Kapak geri dönüştürülmüş kartondur. Pakette bir defter bulunur. Illustrative English draft: This notebook is A5 size and has 80 lined pages. The cover is made of recycled cardboard. The package contains one notebook.
Review quantities and material claims
The draft keeps A5, 80 pages and one notebook. Only the cover is described as recycled cardboard. Do not extend that claim to the pages or whole product, add a certification, or invent a delivery date. This wording was authored for the guide, not generated by a model.
When Turkish leaves the person unspecified
In the standalone sentence ‘O bugün burada’, the pronoun does not identify the person’s gender. ‘They are here today’ can leave it unspecified in English. Context may instead identify a particular person or an object; ask for that context rather than inventing it.
English to Turkish translation: preserve a request
A request is not an agreed deadline
English source: Could you send the updated draft by Tuesday? This is a request, not an agreed deadline. Illustrative Turkish draft: Güncellenmiş taslağı salı gününe kadar gönderebilir misiniz? Bu bir rica; üzerinde anlaşılmış bir teslim tarihi değil.
Set the audience before choosing wording
This fictional example uses polite wording for a colleague. A shorter chat message or a formal letter may need a different register. Preserve Tuesday and the fact that the date has not been agreed. Do not add a specific calendar date or a promise that the draft will be sent.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I try this with a free Brainbaby account?
A free account can use its available chat allowance. Check the balance and current plan limits in the app. Preparing the brief on this page is free and does not run an AI request; generation happens after you choose to send it in chat.
How many languages are guaranteed to work?
There is no validated language-count guarantee on this page. Quality depends on the language pair, source material and selected model. Try a short permitted sample and review it.
Can I control tone and formality?
Yes. Describe the audience, relationship and register you want. Check the result with a fluent reader where nuance matters.
Can it translate a whole document?
Start with manageable sections and preserve a glossary across them. Chat input and account limits apply; this page does not promise unlimited document length or preservation of a file’s layout.
Is it a certified translation service?
No. A generated draft is not certified. Follow the recipient’s requirements when official translation or professional review is needed.
Can it explain an ambiguous phrase?
Yes. Ask for plausible interpretations and state the relevant context. A confident explanation can still be wrong, so verify important wording.
What happens when I open the brief in Brainbaby?
You sign in or create an account, then receive an editable draft in chat. It is not sent automatically. Your account allowance applies when you send it.
What should I know before sharing source material?
The planner prepares text locally in this browser tab. Continuing stores your draft in this tab for the normal sign-in return. Once you submit a chat request, the services involved in that request process it. Read the current privacy policy before sharing confidential material.
