# AI Client Video Delivery Checklist: Review the Export

Video delivery often fails at the last step: the wrong cut is sent, captions differ from the approved version or a download does not play. Use AI to organize the delivery inventory, then perform the checks on the actual exported files. Keep approval and publication separate from handing over a file.

## Your brief

1. List agreed deliverables by version, language, aspect ratio and format. Identify whether editable project files and separate audio or caption files are included.

2. Provide the approved-cut reference and the remaining review items. Record music, footage, voice and appearance permissions without embedding private contracts or personal records.

3. Choose the recipient, delivery method, retention period and support window. Note where the client must approve publication or platform-specific requirements.

## Prompt

Create a video handoff checklist from [deliverable inventory]. Include exact filenames and versions, duration, ratio, language, caption state, audio check, playback evidence, rights review and client approval. Mark unperformed checks pending. Do not claim files were opened or rights cleared from filenames alone. Separate delivery, client acceptance and publication.

## Illustrative example

Illustrative handoff: one vertical English cut and one Urdu-captioned version. Each has its own filename and review record. The Urdu file is watched after export to inspect punctuation and caption timing; the English approval does not substitute for that check. A preview remains a review link until the downloadable deliverable has been verified.

## Acceptance checks

- [ ] Do delivered filenames and versions match the exact approved cuts and agreed formats?
- [ ] Have audio, caption timing, RTL layout where relevant and beginning-to-end playback been checked?
- [ ] Are rights review, pending items, recipient acceptance and publication responsibility clear?

Do not mark a checklist complete simply because the AI produced checkboxes. A real person or tool must perform the checks and record evidence; unknown checks stay pending rather than becoming assumed success.
